
The
accounting department was established in 1991 to provide the public and private
sectors with qualified accountants with specialized scientific knowledge in the
field of accounting and with a wide culture and diverse skills that enable them
to excel in accounting work.
The
department periodically reviews and updates the study plans to ensure that they
cover the important topics required by the accounting work. Graduates of the
Accounting Department have a high employment rate in the public and private
sectors locally.
The
Accounting Department pursues an active (dispatch) and recruitment policy to
attract teaching competencies capable of translating the Department's policies
and ambitions. The faculty of the accounting department consists of 12 faculty
members with a doctorate in accounting. He also participates in the
implementation of the University's policies and achieves its goals aimed at
serving the local community through active and continuous communication with
his private and public institutions.
The Master of Accounting program was also
launched for the first time starting from the first semester of 2016/2017.
