The Department of Financial and Business Economics at the Faculty of Business at Mutah University, which was established in 1992, is one of the academic departments that aims to meet the needs of the Jordanian labor market of specialized employees in the field of Economics. The Department grants two bachelor’s degrees in financial and business economics, where about (90 students) are accepted and admitted annually. It also grants a master's degree in economics since 2000, so that about 15 students are admitted to the master's program.
 

The Department of Financial and Business Economics always seeks to provide students with skills and knowledge that keep pace with the latest methods of university education, its requirements, and its goals. To achieve this, the department has reviewed the current study programs, considering the use of modern technology in teaching, working to develop the skills of current faculty members, and always seeking to attract distinguished faculty members to narrow the gap between theory and practice. At the faculty level, our Academic Team (8 members of various academic ranks) is actively engaged in research and publishing their work in leading international periodicals. Therefore, we provide our students with strong theoretical and conceptual foundations, as well as the ability to apply classroom learning to practical real-world practical issues
