The Second International Conference of the School of Business at Mutah University, titled “Administrative and Economic Opportunities in the Organizational Business Environment,” took place from April 23 to April 25, 2013.

 

This conference addressed key contemporary topics in the fields of management and economics, responding to changes in global administrative and economic systems, the rise of globalization, and economic liberalization. It reflected a commitment to continuous progress, aiming to build on the school’s record of achievements in advancing knowledge and excellence.

The conference aimed to:

  • Analyze contemporary administrative and economic opportunities,
  • Develop mechanisms to leverage these opportunities in a scientific and economic manner,
  • Facilitate knowledge and expertise exchange among academics and researchers from Arab and international institutions.

The discussions focused on modern trends in management practices, emphasizing the role of research in identifying and diagnosing contemporary administrative challenges and proposing practical solutions. The conference also sought to foster sustainable cooperation between universities and industrial sectors by addressing challenges faced by business organizations in the Arab world and applying scientific methods to resolve them. A key emphasis was placed on implementing conference recommendations to enhance organizational performance.

A total of 37 research papers were discussed, contributed by 60 researchers from various countries, including Iraq (3), Malaysia (1), Lebanon (2), the United Kingdom (2), Qatar (2), Algeria (21), and Jordan (33).
